Asustek G50V and G71V Gaming Laptops

Asustek attempts to ignite the gaming laptop market by offering two new models - the G50V and the G71V. Both models will be powered by Intel Centrino 2 technology as well as NVIDIA's GeForce 9700M GT graphics card, a 2 megapixel webcam, WiMAX-ready Intel Link 5100 wireless modules, optional Bluetooth and funky LED lighting effects along the laptops' side for that added 'mean' look when you game. In addition, the back will change color according to your fan speed, so you know just how fast you're burning up the circuits. All these notebooks will run on Windows Vista, and as at press time, several G50V models are readily available in the US although there is no word on pricing and availability concerning the G17V.
