Blockbuster Download Service is in Beta

Blockbuster is rolling out its download (rental and purchase) service and here's what you should know about it:

You need an account
No monthly subscription
Files will play on Windows Server 2003/XP/Vista (Media Player 10), Media Center, Xbox 360 and *some* network media boxes
Reportedly works with AT&T HomeZone boxes

Rental

Rent prices from $1.99 to $3.99
Once downloaded, movies can be stored for 30 days
Once played, you have 24 hours to watch it (over and over). Obviously, the 24 hours expire on or before the 30 days.
