Canon Has Two New Pixma Printers

Canon introduced two new Pixma printers for the masses - the Pixma MP480 and Pixma MP190. They are both all-in-one printers, allowing you to perform the duties of a printer primarily, followed by that of a scanner and a copier. Of course, this isn't meant to be used as a heavy duty copier since ink cartridges can add up pretty quickly, but they're ideal for the average home and office use. The MP190 is the lower end of the two, retailing for just $70 and is capable of pumping out resolutions of up to 4,800 x 1,200dpi. As for the MP480, this $100 printer comes with a 1.8" TFT color display that allows you to view and adjust a photo or image without the need for computer software. Both printers will use Canon's ChromaLife 100 system that protects photos against traditional enemies like fading from fading as a result of exposure to heat, light, and humidity.
