Chain Lamp Folds Up When Not In Use

Talk about a lamp that saves space when you're not using it - this is exactly what the Chain Lamp from Nemo Italianaluce does. Designed by Iliara Marelli, this designer lamp is constructed from case aluminum and is lit by a quartet of bright white LEDs at 1 watt each. When folded, it measures a mere 2.75" in height, and some people might even mistake it for a stapler. When opened at full stretch, it is able to stand proud at almost 22" in height. You will have to dig deep in these times of economic uncertainty for such a stylish piece of home decor though, as the Chain Lamp retails for $595 each.
