Contact Lenses Believe In Quick Action
Aug 8, 08 11:13 AM PDT

This is one pair of smart contact lenses - it is capable to performing a quick check on your eyes to make sure that everything's working in tip top condition, and is smart enough to dispense medication automatically as and when required. Perfect to treat those who are beginning to develop glaucoma, as it is capable of detecting raised pressure in the eye by warning you by sending data to a computer wirelessly. No idea on just when such a nifty invention will make it to the mainstream market, but it definitely beats going to the eye doctor for an annual checkup eh?
