Dell Turning Green

To see Dell taking positive steps to reach Carbon Neutral status before the year is over is definitely encouraging, and the fruit of their labor resulted in them hitting the target five months ahead of schedule. Dell isn't going to rest on its laurels though, setting the lofty target of being the "greenest" company in the technology sector soonest possible. I suppose Michael Dell and Steve Jobs haven't been talking to each other lately since Jobs doesn't seem to be too bothered about being green and all that jazz - as long as they remain cool, everything's fine. According to head honcho Michael Dell himself, “We’re driving ‘green’ into every aspect of our global business… this includes setting new standards for energy efficiency and green power, delivering environmental and cost savings for customers and aligning key growth priorities with our focus on preserving our shared earth."
