Posted on Aug 12, 08 08:36 PM PDT

Fujitsu Siemens are proud to announce that they have developed the first zero-watt monitor in the world, targeting folks who not only want to help save the environment but cash at the same time. This patent-pending monitor utilizes zero-watt power save technology-enabled SCENICVIEW ECO monitors that will not draw a single iota of juice when not in use, effectively helping an organization save energy that could add up to a rather substantial amount when the numbers of monitors run into the hundreds or thousands. Available in 20" and 22" models, they will feature 1,680 x 1,050 resolution, a response time of 5ms and an HDMI interface. The 20" model will retail for approximately £328 when available.
