GM Performance Display

General Motors (GM) has come up with its own performance display that is meant to be used in tandem with ECOtec engines, especially turbocharged ones. They will be available as an option from early next year onwards, retailing for $295 a pop in a dealer installed package. Dubbed the Reconfigurable Performance Display, you will be able to view a vast array of data in gauge form, including boost, battery voltage, air fuel ratio, cam phase angle, timing, barometric pressure and torque and horsepower. It will be accompanied by a G-sensor with the ability to enable/disable traction control via the screen itself. No word on pricing is currently available, but this is just too cool. I wonder whether rice rocket owners will install one of these puppies.
