ImmobiTag Protects Your Bicycle
Posted on Aug 4, 08 09:21 AM PDT

ImmobiTag is something that people who own a bicycle might want to take note of. If you’re worried about your previous bicycle being stolen, the ImmobiTag is a device that can be attached to your bike, via a one-time installation method, and features a unique ID number that users will register on the Immobilise website. The installation method should be secure, as the only way to remove it is to cut the bike’s frame, which would make stealing it kind of pointless. In the event the bike is recovered, the police can just scan the tag to verify if you’re the rightful owner of the bike by comparing the information with the Immobilise database. For just $25, this seems like a good investment, especially if it helps safeguard your bicycle, which would definitely have cost more than $25. It even comes with a nice set of warning stickers to let thieves know that your bicycle is protected (so it might be easier to steal someone else’s bike).
