It creates a dome about 32 feet in all directions, and blocks frequencies such as GSM850, EGSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900, CDMA800, WCDMA/CDMA2000, PHS, DECT and even 3G. While the battery only lasts about 1.5 hours, it should be more than enough to get phone addicts away from you. The only downside is that the price tag of $246 isn’t cheap, which could mean that ear plugs could be what you end up buying.
