Sony has revamped its Xplod line of car stereo head-end units that will work with the iPod range - a first from Sony. The models in question are the GT630UI, GT430IP, GT330 and GT130, and all of them will feature a USB connection that not only transfers relevant data from the iPod but doubles up as a charger as well. These models are also the first of their kind to feature a scan technology called "ZAPPIN", which according to Sony, will perform what auto-scanning does for radios, for digital content instead. Folks who want the GT630UI will have to fork out $160, while those who want the GT430IP and GT330 will have to fork out $130 and $100, respectively when they're released in September.
