Asus G50V Gaming Notebook

Asus does not target suits who want something portable and yet does not compromise in computing power this time round with the G50V gaming notebook. This 15" model will come with enough specifications to handle the latest games as well as those from the future, although the relatively short battery life could be a potential downer. Specifications include :-

• Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 2.53GHz processor
• 4GB 800MHz DDR2 RAM
• 2 megapixel webcam
• 1,680 x 1,050 native resolution
• Nvidia GeForce 9700M GT 512MB graphics card
• 500GB combined storage
• DVD burner

You will have to fork out $1,699 for the above mentioned model, but those who want to rock on to Blu-ray movies will have to fork out an additional $200, sacrificing the 500GB hard drive space for two 200GB hard drives instead.
