Dell Qflix DVD Drive
Posted on Sep 16, 08 08:11 AM PDT

Dell is working with Sonic Solutions to manufacture Qflix DVD drives that enable users to record downloaded movies to DVD the legal way, so you don't have to worry about folks armed to the teeth wearing balaclavas knocking down your front door. These downloads will be made available via the CinemaNow service, but it remains unknown as to how many and which DVD titles or TV shows are compatible with the Qflix. There is no word on media pricing, but the Dell Qflix drive bundle will retail for $120 as an option in the US on Dell’s Inspiron, Studio and XPS laptops. This option will be introduced to other desktops later in the year.
