Dell's new Studio Slim range of desktop PCs might not be lookers like the Studio Hybrid, but at least it is easy on your wallet and goes about its job without creaking under the load. Prices start from a relatively affordable $549 upwards, and you will get the following inside :-

• Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53GHz processors
• 2GB RAM
• Integrated graphics chipset
• HDMI out
• Optional Blu-ray disc drive

Perfect for small offices and cramped homes, the Dell Studio Slim measures less than 4" tall when on its side, making it an unobtrusive neighbor beside your current DVR set in the living room.
