Firefox Offers Private Browsing Too
Posted on Sep 14, 08 07:31 PM PDT

Firefox jumps onto the private browsing mode bandwagon by including that feature in Firefox 3.0, which is a boon to folks who don't want to rely on Internet Explorer, Safari or Google Chrome. I must say this development might be abused by quarters who want to view NSFW sites, regardless of whether they're at home or at the office, but to know you can get away without being tracked down by a layperson opens up a whole door of temptations. Other more useful ways of using this privacy mode would be searching and making plans for a loved one over a shared computer or researching medical conditions that you want to keep private.
