FRED Humidifier Lands

At first glance, the FRED Humidifier might look as though it was some sort of relic that was smuggled from Area 51, but upon closer inspection you will realize that this is no extra-terrestrial equipment but an ordinary humidifier instead, albeit in a rather strange and alternative design. It is a vaporizer that features a tiny 2 gallon reservoir that is boiled, shooting steam out the fluke while doing away with the need for wicks or filters as the boiling process will easily dispatch of bacteria and minerals. FRED functions fine all round, but one major gripe for most folks would be the material it comes in - only the feet are made out of metal, while the rest of the body relies on plastic. If you're willing to overlook that, you can pick up FRED for $99.
