Gefen's 1:5 Splitter for HDMI over CAT-5 is a pretty interesting solution for integrators - it enables just about any HDMI source signal to be split and delivered over to five different displays all at once via CAT-5 cables. Of course, this works great as long as you don't exceed 45 meters in cable length, as the signal would deteriorate after that. Stay within 45 meters and you will be able to enjoy full High Definition video and audio delivered instantly, while doubling the cable length will have maximum resolutions of 1080i. The Gefen 1:5 Splitter for HDMI over CAT-5 will retail for a whopping $2,249 and is compatible with virtually all HDMI devices of today.
