Gloop: P2P Photo Sharing between Digital Photo Frames
Posted on Sep 8, 08 04:03 AM PDT

[DEMOFall 08] Photo frames will become sexy again! This cool new technology launching at DEMO makes their usage even more simple. It is targeted to the older generation, to help them get more photos from their family without efforts (well, if the grand-parents have WI-FI already setup). The Gloop P2P software enables users to send digital photos directly to other Gloop-enabled photo frames without using a PC (although you can also use a PC to share photos with Gloop frames). The software has a social networking component as well, directly accessible from a simple interface in the frame, you can place calls to your friend and family from the frame before sending them pictures (see image after the jump). I am curious to see which of the big CE manufacturers will get this in their frames the first! For more information visit the website www.trinityconvergence.com
