Google Chrome Headed For Android

Word has it that the recently unveiled Google Chrome browser will also make its way to the Android mobile operating system, at least that's what head honcho Sergey Brin says. "“Probably a subsequent version of Android is going to pick up a lot of the Chrome stack… My guess is we’ll have ‘Chrome-like’ or something similar.” This integration could be the beginning of a real portable, cross-platform application reality, where applications developed via Google's App Engine will see it being ported over to the desktop as well as mobile version of Google Chrome out-of-the-box. This will definitely boost productivity and efficiency, since the same code can run smoothly on either platforms. Neat!
