Who would've thought that the humble laundry basket would actually get a tech upgrade in the form of the Electrolux iBasket? Granted, this is but a concept at point of publishing, but who knows - this could end up as reality in the near future? The Wi-Fi-enabled iBasket is a convergence device that merges the functionalities of a laundry bin, washing machine and dryer in a single device. It is able to know when the drum is full and inform you via SMS or email whenever the load is clean and done. I suppose version 2.0 of the iBasket would see it separating colors and material automatically? Is that too far-fetched?
