It is important to note that this won't work if you're running on the new iPod touch 2G. In this new update, the iPhone Dev Team managed to circumvent iTunes 8 sans program patching, so you won't have to have sleepless nights about altering a core OS X program. Proceed with caution, and always make a backup before you perform upgrades of any sort.
