NEC Goes Green With MultiSync EA221WM

NEC has yet another green LCD monitor - the MultiSync EA221WM. This 22" monitor is the second release under NEC's MultiSync EA banner, being the smaller sibling of the 26" EA261WM. Other features include :-

• 1,680x1,050 resolution (WSXGA)
• Viewing angle of 176 degrees
• Contrast ratio of 1,000:1
• 250 cd/m² brightness
• Four-way adjustable stand (110mm height, tilt, swivel, pivot)
• Down-firing speakers with headphone jack
• Four-port USB 2.0 hub
• HDCP via DVI
• HDMI-compatible via adapter
• NaViKey screen-setting adjustment
• Dynamic Video Mode with five settings
• Built-in carrying handle
• Cable-management cover

This display is touted to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 20%, and if you decide to run the NEC MultiSync EA221WM in ECO mode, it will further reduce the overall power consumption. This display will be available this September for $389.99.
