Samsung Litmus and Diamond MP3 Players
Posted on Sep 3, 08 09:43 AM PDT

Samsung has a couple of MP3 players announced for the masses - the YP-U4 Litmus and the YP-A1 Diamond. Both of these models are certainly head turners, and they will make it even harder for a newcomer to make up his/her mind when it comes to purchasing a suitable MP3 player. The Diamond comes with DNSe 3.0 which is able to deliver a self-proclaimed "World's Best Sound Quality", while the Litmus has version 2.0 of DNSe, offering MP3, WMA and OGG file support in addition to 16 hours of non-stop playback. As for the Diamond, it will feature an audio upscale function that restores missing sound range, or at least that's what Samsung claims to do. The Litmus will come in 2GB and 4GB capacities, while the Diamond will feature 4GB, 8GB an 16GB varieties. There is no word on pricing or availability at press time.
