Sanyo Xacti E2

Sanyo has recently announced the successor to the first generation waterproof Xacti E1 in the form of the Xacti E2. Not too imaginative on the naming front, but it is a logical choice. This device maintains the same ability to work at a maximum depth of 5 feet for an hour at most. It also features a similar design (where's the imagination?) and records in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format, although there is an improvement in the recording which is now capable of hitting 60 frames per second while capturing 8-megapixel still photos thanks to its 10fps sequential shooting capability. The very useful Face detection/tracking.technology is also included to help preserve your next family reunion in a digital format. The Sanyo Xacti E2 will retail for $399.99 and is available in either brilliant blue or pearlescent white colors.
