Seagate FreeAgent External Drive

Seagate has launched its FreeAgent external hard drives that not only come in an updated external form factor, you also get better features as expected with each new release. Available in Go and Go for Mac models, both of them tout to be the thinnest notebook drives at 12.5mm each, and will come with an optional dock that holds the drive while you're desk-bound. The Mac model has the additional capability of switching from USB to a FireWire 400/800 interface when required, and has already been formatted for the HFS+ file system at the factory. You can pick up the 250GB, 320GB and 500GB models for $120, $150 and $240, respectively, while those who want the Go for Mac editions have to fork out another $40 over the listed price. There won't be any 500GB option though.
