Solar Motorcycle Is Large

Solar-powered cars, yes. Solar-powered bikes? I don't think that's such a good idea, since the entire bike would be too large for many people to wield. Just check out this monster of a bike - the Prometheus solar-powered motorcycle that has four huge solar panels to soak up the sun's energy, translating it into electricity to propel yourself forward. Lithium-ion phosphate batteries with a 4.6kWh capacity are connected to a 10 HP Perm PMG 132 motor, making it capable of hitting a top speed of 70 mph within a 50 mile range. Folks who are interested won't be able to pick up this bike since it is not for sale, but there is an interest for such a bike, although I would be inclined to say that something smaller is more desirable.
