Here's a novel way to find out whether cows are infected with mad cow disease or not - simply measure the brain waves that they produce whenever an audio stimuli is played. This test is able to determine whether a bovine has the dreaded disease before the physical symptoms manifest, with a standard delayed reaction to certain sound being the common denominator.
