Toshiba NB100 To Hit UK

Toshiba's NB100 netbook has been confirmed to hit the UK in October, and it is basically the NB105 as reported earlier, save for the fact that this model number is meant for folks living in the UK. Just like the NB105, you will find an Intel Atom processor running everything else, propped by 1GB RAM and a 120GB hard drive to accompany its 8.9" display at 1,024 x 600 resolution. The battery life has been rated at 3 hours and 47 minutes by Toshiba themselves, regardless of whether you're running on Linux or Windows XP. I'd take that claim with a pinch of salt as it is considerably much better compared to other similar netbooks. The estimated cost currently stands at £260, and you can choose from Cosmic Black, Champagne Gold and Bright Silver colors.
