US Beats Out On Europe In 3G Subscribers, Just
Posted on Sep 4, 08 07:21 PM PDT

Word from comScore has it that there are more wireless subscribers who have taken up 3G as their mantra compared to those residing in western Europe - 28.4% versus 28.3%. That's a narrow margin by any means, so expect this bit of trumpet blowing to last only a while as you never know just when the tables might get turned. I believe that the 80% increase in 3G usage since last year had plenty to do with the release of handsets such as the iPhone 3G and Samsung Instinct. Are you rocking on with 3G connectivity on your handset?
