Virgin Mobile Relaunches Helio Brand

Virgin Mobile has revitalized the Helio brand, although nothing much has changed. This time it is known as Helio by Virgin Mobile, and as expected, the deals on offer are pretty sweet. First off we have the enhanced Helio $80 a la carte plan that features unlimited minutes compared to the previous deal that had a limit of 1,500 minutes. This new plan will be made available to current and new Helio members. In addition, Virgin Mobile is looking into incorporating more of previous packages from Helio into the existing lineup, including Google Maps and turn-by-turn directions. Along the way, Virgin has also dropped hints of an Ocean 2 launch that could materialize in the near future. Good two see a few months after acquiring Helio, Virgin Mobile did not just sit down on their new baby without doing anything about it.
