Acura RDX Gets GPS Controlled Temperature Settings
Posted on Oct 17, 08 07:19 AM PDT

The next time you drive home a brand new Acura RDX, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find GPS-controlled temperature settings within. The built-in GPS system will detect the vehicle's movement relative to the sun's position, translating that information to the internal temperature control system so that your heat/air conditioning will react accordingly, keeping you comfortable at just the right temperature. Of course, I'm pretty sure you are able to manually override this system, but isn't it nice to know our vehicles make us more and more of a passive driver? Needless to say, this GPS system also does perform its traditional functions such as giving you directions to your intended destination. Just make sure you have at least $38,000 in your bank before driving home the Acura RDX.
