Facebook Says No To T-Mobile G1
Posted on Oct 23, 08 12:20 PM PDT

Facebook won't be creating an application that will run on T-Mobile's G1 Android-powered smartphone, which is pretty surprising since it is readily available for the iPhone and BlackBerry. I guess that would mean Facebook fans who are looking for a new phone will probably give the G1 a pass even though it has plenty of functionality in other areas. Interestingly enough, Facebook is ad-served by Microsoft who also has an investment stake in them, which leads to a rather interesting conspiracy theory if you want to take Facebook's claims that they currently are not interested in dedicated resources towards developing an Android version with a pinch of salt.
