Firefox 3.1 Beta 1 available for download

Mozilla is releasing the public beta of Firefox 3.1 (beta 1). Here are the highlights:

  • 3D preview during tab switch
  • Better Javascript Performance
  • Location awareness: it requires the Geode extension
Lots Unfortunately, people who are waiting for private browsing will have to wait. I'm wondering how Javascript performance will affect my day to day use (especially on the laptop). [Download link]
