Trust the Japanese to come up with all things weird and fancy - case in point, this pair of Gundam slippers. Not only do they come with a faux gold trim, they also generate giant robot stomping noises while you walk around in it. Chances are parents who get this for their little ones will find it cute and funny for the first couple of minutes, only to be filled with regret shortly after due to all the racket their kids make, running up and down the stairs in the home.
