LawnPC Helps Keep Things Green
Posted on Oct 26, 08 08:03 PM PDT

Fancy using a full fledged computer that does not run on electricity, but is self powered instead? Enter the LawnPC concept that boasts solar cells embedded in the grass-like lawn that is located right above the case. This green grass won't attract insects since it is made from natural cotton fabric which features integrated inkjet printed solar cells, generating around 60 watts per hour for your computing needs. Since the power supply lawn is removable, you can always change the system hardware without losing out on this functionality, further helping you save the environment. Pretty interesting idea, but at 60 watts per hour, this idea won't help you run the latest games or power hungry applications.
