NetGear aims for first mover advantage again, this time round with the SXRN3205 ProSafe Wireless-N Virtual Private Network (VPN) firewall. This is touted to be the first effort of its kind, merging a dual band 5.0/2.4GHz Wireless-N with SSL and IPsec VPN. Targeting small businesses that want superior wireless performance without compromising on security, this need has been fulfilled by integrating Dual WAN Gigabit SSL VPN firewall with a dual-band Wireless-N access point, enabling it to support up to five Secure Socket Layer tunnels and an equal number of IP Security tunnels simultaneously for secure remote connections for 25 user applications.
