As the presidential race heats up, both candidates are trying to find any edge in order to go one up on their opponent, and Obama's camp has a previously unheard of weapon - the Obama ‘08: The Official Application for iPhone and iPod touch. This free application makes it a snap for Obama volunteers to get involved by making phone calls on the candidate’s behalf. In addition, it also features news updates, news coverage, local event information, media from the campaign trail, as well as Obama’s and Biden’s stance on “essential issues facing Americans.” Any idea whether this will have a serious bearing on the election results?
