Philips Looking Glass Video Messaging Tablet Concept
Posted on Oct 15, 08 06:49 PM PDT

Philips has recently paraded a new video messaging tablet concept known as the Looking Glass in Moscow, Russia. This touch screen tablet enables users to record video messages on the spot and sending it over to any designated number around the world. Of course, this idea would initially require both sender and receiver to possess a Looking Glass tablet, but hopefully technology will advance so that this video messaging concept will end up as software-based instead of relying on a particular kind of hardware so that its reach may be truly universal. The Looking Glass will connect via Wi-Fi or even come with a built-in 3G modem, but you won't be able to hold live video chat over it (strange).
