Posted on Oct 15, 08 09:34 AM PDT

Pioneer has released its first portable satellite radio in the form of the XMp3 which is capable of recording five different XM stations simultaneously, ensuring you and four of your other mates who love totally different stations are able to enjoy their radio programs at the end of the day over a single device. Thanks to the automatic buffering mode, the Pioneer XMp3 is also able to contain up to 30 minutes of programming at any one time to keep your radio going even when you're traveling through a tunnel or an area with really poor satellite signals. Just like its predecessors, the Pioneer XMp3 doubles up as a DVR and features an electronic program guide for advance scheduling. You will be able to pick up the Pioneer XMp3 as long as you part with $279 for it.
