Samsung OLED Panel Flaps

Samsung's new OLED panel is so thin (0.05mm), that is will flap in the presence of strong winds. This 4" display that is currently on parade at FPD International 2008 comes with the following specifications :-

  • 480 × 272 resolution
  • 100,000:1 contrast ratio
  • 200cd/m2 brightness
  • 100% color reproduction range of the NTSC standard

Sounds too good to be a cell phone display, but can they make it large enough to be a flexible electronic banner?
