Posted on Oct 20, 08 10:57 PM PDT

Sprint has a heart for the hard of hearing by launching the WebCapTel On the Go mobile service which enables customers to read word-for-word captions on Windows Mobile 6 Web browsers as found on a handful of devices such as the HTC Diamond, HTC Mogul, Palm Treo 800w and MOTO Q9c. Best of all is, this altruistic service is free, and also works with the Safari 2.0 Web browser. Sprint projects that the WebCapTel On the Go service is tipped to help up to 10% of Americans who are suffering from hearing loss of some sort or the other. Sign up for free today here.
