Step-on Scanner Does Away With Hassle During Air Travel

Israel scientists managed to develop a new step-on scanner that is able to x-ray shoes for forbidden items, doing away with the need to remove one's shoes as they walk past through a security checkpoint. This device is not yet perfected since it cannot sniff out explosives, but I am pretty sure with all the brains they have, this is but a matter of time. Currently, only shoes of suspicious passengers are required to be removed, x-rayed and swabbed for bomb residues. This new step-on scanner is known as MagShoe, and will be able to tell within a couple of seconds as to whether the passenger's footwear has unusual metal content. I'm all for safer air travel without the extra hassle, so the MagShoe is a winner for me.
