T-Mobile Exposes Data Of 30 Million Customers
Posted on Oct 13, 08 06:26 PM PDT

T-Mobile has just confirmed that they actually exposed confidential data of 30 million customers due to a system error, and part of this data included bank account information. I suppose in times of economic hardship many bank accounts will have very little money left, but that's besides the point. Good thing T-Mobile did introduce a new security system last Friday that closed the security hole immediately, and they assured customers that no data theft had occurred - well, what did you expect them to say? Did this security breach happen just because T-Mobile was too busy preparing for the G1 launch that they neglected other aspects of their business?
