Verizon Wireless And Alltel Merger Approved
Posted on Oct 30, 08 07:22 PM PDT

Look out AT&T, the proposed merger between Verizon Wireless and Alltel has just been okayed by the Department of Justice, and both companies when merged, are on the brink of becoming the largest wireless carrier in the nation. The final obstacle remains in the hands of the Federal Communications Commission, where they will pass a vote on the deal this November 4th. Do you think this merger will stifle competition as consumers will have less and less choices between network operators, or are you all for the sharing of resources in order to serve customers from both carriers better?
