Even within the circles of Apple product owners there are different levels of elitism. iPhone owners might look down on their iPod touch brethren since the latter can't carry out phone conversations, but here's a piece of news for the latter to hit back - the 2G iPod touch is the fastest among the lot, since the recent revamp saw the 2G iPod touch's processor being given a boost to hit 532MHz, which is more than 100Mhz faster compared to the iPhone 3G, iPhone and 1G iPod touch that chug along at 412MHz.
