Posted on Nov 19, 08 05:45 AM PDT

Folks who are looking forward to the Asus Eee Top won't need to wait too much longer as this iMac rival will debut this Thursday at a news conference in Taipei. Asus has placed the ET1603 and ET1602 models on its website, but it has yet to be revealed to the masses in the flesh. Just in case you've forgotten what the Eee Top holds within, you'll find a 15.9" touchscreen display, an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor running on the Windows XP operating system within. The ET1603 comes with an ATI HD3450 graphics card and a battery, making it more expensive (and heavier) than the cheaper ET1602 that lacks a battery and has an integrated graphics solution instead. Shared features include :-
- 160GB hard drive
- 1GB RAM
- Wi-Fi connectivity
- 1.3 megapixel webcam
- USB ports
