Atari Crammed Into Game Gear
Posted on Nov 26, 08 09:30 AM PDT

Modder Chris Koopa has decided to rip out the Game Gear's innards and replace it with the insides of an Atari Flashback 2, which is pretty strange since you'll be replacing more powerful hardware with something way more ancient. Well one thing's for sure though - this modded Game Gear won't guzzle batteries like there's no tomorrow, and perhaps if it was released before the Game Boy came out, it could have been a huge hit. This modded system comes loaded with 40 pre-loaded Atari 2600 games, and it also boasts an ingenious 2600 cartridge slot that allows you to boot up original 2600 cartridges as well.
