Bicycle Seat Uses Your Butt To Generate Power
Posted on Nov 4, 08 08:05 PM PDT

There are many ways to go green, and here is yet another interesting method - by using your butt each time you ride on a bike. Thanks to designer Deco Goodman's "Commuter Cyclist's Sustainable Energy Source" which is attached right under the seat, it will collect juice by virtue of the compression of the seat sprints, braking and pedaling among others. This stored electricity can then be used to power whatever electrical components on your bike need, including the headlights and tail lights. Hopefully this concept will make it into the mainstream market and not a moment too soon.
