Cobra Radar Detectors Get GPS
Posted on Nov 5, 08 06:16 PM PDT

Now this is a much better application of GPS technology instead of being stuffed into an underwear - Cobra's newest radar redector range will receive GPS capability - not to help you find directions to a building in a foreign state, but it is used to alert you of upcoming speed traps. This information will be pulled from Cobra's database or those which you have already pre-programmed within. Both the XRS 9960G and XRS R10G will come with a small OLED display that shows up notifications as and where necessary. GPS-capable models are able to hit prices of up to $339.
