The Sony PSP-3000 is notorious for being hard to crack, but even the strongest fall inevitably, this time round courtesy of the efforts from Datel's Lite Blue Tool. This special battery peripheral is able to boot the handheld console into service mode, thus downgrading to an earlier cracked firmware. This is simple enough to do in older PSPs, but good thing this is now achievable on the PSP-3000. As usual, only a small percentage of people will use this for homebrew purposes while the rest decide to pursue pirated games in view of the current economic crunch. The Lite Blue Tool will retail for $29.99 a pop.
